No matter where you are in the world you will have heard about one of the big fashion events that have big news during this autumn season. Whether it is London, New York or Paris, there have not only been some huge celebrities pictured at a variety of shows, but also the up and coming trends we have seen from the designers have got us all a bit excited over here at Pastiche HQ. Here's our round up of the best.
Paris Fashion Week #PFW
We start our round-up with our French friends and the Paris Fashion Week. There is always big things expected from this Fashion week as Paris is the spiritual home of true elegance and style and a country that so many others look to for inspiration. The pressure is always up high for Paris Fashion week and in 2014 they seemed only too happy to take it on headfirst. With Yellow seeming to be the colour of choice in the French capital, with Emanuel Ungaro, Phillip Lim and Caroline Herrera all showcasing the hue. At Pastiche Couture we also love to have some sunshine in our life, so why not make your own wardrobe a burst of colour with this lovely yellow number.
Moving away from Paris, we cross over to America’s offerings in the fashion world with NYC Fashion Week.
New York Fashion Week #NYFW
The style in New York seemed to be one that was born of an eclectic mind, with so many different offerings that still manage to come together to create something really mind blowing. Our first top tip for Spring 2015 is ruffles; beautiful, feminine, floaty layers that look as great as they feel to wear them. Zimmerman and Rebecca Taylor both had this flattering hemline in their dresses and whether they were on the shoulder or on the bottom; they looked absolutely amazing.
Another highlight of NYC Fashion Week is the enlarged floral print; as seen on the runways of Thom Browne and Michael Kors and of course our very favorite designer Sherri Hill. All styles below can be pre-ordered now !!
London Fashion Week #LFW
Last and of course definitely not least we have London Fashion Week; our very own collection of home grown talent ready to showcase what us Brits are likely to be wearing during 2015.
Whilst much like some of the other fashion weeks London seemed to be a collection of floral prints, bold colour clashes and sheer panels, there also was a significant amount of dresses and outfits that had cut out details on them, think more symmetric angular cut outs rather than ripped jeans and hole ridden tops.
Tom Ford, Issa and Simon Rocha were all seen to have these types of styles on their catwalks; so if you want to make sure that you are ahead of the crowd with this particular style then at Pastiche Couture we have the cut out covered.
Elegant yet sexy and available in a range of colours, this really is the perfect dress.
So that was our brief overview of the SS15 fashion weeks; with so much to come next Spring we have to say that we are excited and with some great things on the horizon at Pastiche Couture we think you should be too!
